RainglassTerms of Use
1. License agreement
Rainglass is distributed through the Mac App Store. Your use of the app is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). The licensor is Marco Ehinger (see Legal Notice). The notes below supplement the Standard EULA; in case of conflict, the Standard EULA prevails.
2. Purchase and refunds
Purchases, payments and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Refunds can be requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.
3. Weather data
The “Real weather” option uses data from Apple Weather. Weather data may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate; it is used only to set the mood of the rain effect and is not suitable for decisions of any kind. Sources: Apple Weather data sources.
4. Third-party content
Rainglass contains sound recordings by third parties:
- Rain: “Rain (loopable)” by Ylmir, CC0 1.0, opengameart.org
- Thunder: “Nosferatu thunderclap” by Richard Humphries, CC BY 4.0, Wikimedia Commons – edited (trimmed, normalized, converted)
5. Use with care
Rainglass shows animated effects across your screen, including flashes of lightning during thunderstorms. If you are sensitive to flashing light, keep the thunderstorm option turned off.
6. Warranty and liability
Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. For consumers in the EU, the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence remain unaffected by any choice of law.
